Confirmed from Howland Township Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved city park featuring playgrounds (including one modeled after a tiger), picnic spots and sports courts.

My kids don't like Howland Park as much as they used to, since they tore down Tiger Town. They still have the slides set up near the tennis courts that have been there since I was a little kid and just one new play set. It is a nice place to go if you like to walk on the track.
Great playground with clean restrooms!! My son really enjoys the new Tiger Town. I just wish the playground itself has a little more shade. The walking trail around the park is great, as well.
The Howland Township Park is a great place for your daily walk, have lunch, and take the kids. It now offers Disc Golf. It's a wonderful experience through the four seasons

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
