Confirmed from Lakeview Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with trails and picnic tables, as well as opportunities for hiking and fishing.
What runners say about Lakeview Recreation Area
“This is my go-to place to sit down relax and clear my mind with a beautiful view”
“It's peaceful and just a nice little place to relax 😊”
Nice little kinda secluded park area. There is a pavilion and grills by the lake. There is a disk golf course, a place to have a fire to sit around, gravel paths to walk through the woods, and it's a great area for bird watching and learning about plants. It's peaceful and just a nice little place to relax 😊
Lovely peaceful area to take a walk and enjoy nature. There are some cool rocks to be found here as well.
This part of Mosquito is beautiful. Perfect place for fishing - caught a lot of nice bluegill. Great for the kids to run around and collect shells. Picnic tables and very cool purple martin bird houses.
Well maintained small trail that takes about 30-40 min to walk though. Dock to stand on half way through the trail. We stop here often

“The bathroom was pretty clean, I do wish it had an air vent, because as outhouse style restrooms do it was very hot inside even though outside was only about 74°.”
