Confirmed from Huffman MetroPark Overlook's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 9 mentions

“It also has beautiful trails that go along the lake and an area with some high grass great for bird watching too.”

My pup enjoyed the smells. No one else was around mid day in the middle of the week. Quite serene for a quick hike, a little mid day get away.

One of my favorite Metropark locations. So nice to be able to walk on the High Dam and then step down to walking by the water

★★★★★ — Andrew , Jun 2022

It's beautiful there and it's kept clean. Tonight I saw 8 different cranes of some kind on the water. They are white and quite large. Definitely worth checking out! And you can walk across the Huffman dam which is a short walk from here.

★★★★★ — Lisa , Aug 2021

Very cool scenery. A dam crosses across the park with trails leading along the Great Miami river. It also has beautiful trails that go along the lake and an area with some high grass great for bird watching too.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
