I love this park, I also enjoy walking the bike path to Downtown Riverscape. It is 4 miles 1 way. This park can be crowded at times but there is always a place to venture off to. Take kids to park, fish, walk run, bike or get out on the water. There is 2 locations 1 is the lake side and the other is park.
This park is one of my favorites. I enjoy cycling, then take my break besides the river and just be quiet to watch the carpenter bird or the cardinal. Also you can fish, walk, reserve a shelter and have a good time with family and friends.
This is a very nice park with good facilities such as picnic tables and a good variety of wildlife. The park is well kept and the trees are huge. A bicycle path goes through the park. There is a surprising amount of wildlife considering the number of people that visit the park.
Nice place to go for a walk. Has fishing spots. You can kayak. Has a bike trail. And a playground.
