Confirmed from Hulen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with baseball & basketball facilities, pavilions, a playground for kids & walking trails.
What runners say about Hulen Park
We went early, so we had the run of the place. There was a train, and a tributary with geese. The park was clean and cute. The usual stuff was there like swings, playground area, rock like structure to climb on, and a few other things. Nice benches to sit on while watching all the kids.
Better then I thought it would be. Fun walking thru the park at Christmas. So many lights to look at and a nice playground for the kids with plenty things for them to pay on. It's a nice park with a pond to walk around.
I really love this park. It is set up where you can freely take a walk with your pet and simultaneously watch your children. The lake is small but pretty and landscaping behind it is very beaitiful and still being improved. There are many locations to picnic and tons of trees to sit under. Beware of ants.
Nice park. Some parts aren't as pretty as others, but its a nice place to walk or hang out. Good playground and lots of picnic tables. They have some ducks that are friendly and you can feed.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
