Confirmed from Iliff Commons Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Iliff Commons Trail
“Very nicely maintained short trail with a few points of interest including bronze bison statues, a small pond, and a replica of a cabin first built by Kansas settlers.”
“I would totally recommend bringing your entire family here or just coming out to enjoy the beautiful sunset all by yourself.”
“🌿 Iliff Commons Trail: A Peaceful Escape in Nature Iliff Commons Trail is a delightful haven for outdoor enthusiasts seeking tranquility and exploration.”
“And as I’m typing, two unleashed dogs start walking in with their, guess what, IRRESPONSIBLE OWNER.”
I love coming to this place. Plenty of trails option and levels of difficulty. Great for dog people and it has bike trails. Quite a few swings for kids throughout the trails as well as a tree house and a cabin, which is cool. Even more benches for resting. I like coming here specifically for the inclines.
Tons of trails, neat things hidden among the trees to find, great to keep kids busy looking to see how many they can find as you walk the trails, biking trails, dog friendly, family friendly, great views, statutes, old cabin, information on trails name and their dedication.
I've been here for three years and I'm just finding out about this great park. WOW! Lots of trails, open grass and wooded areas as well. Well kept. As some have noted, it just kinda appears out of nowhere as you drive up!
Looks like you're pulling into someone's driveway when you arrive. There is a cute little pond on the property, not far from the entrance. Tons of cute creatures to see with little ones. A tire swing and a regular swing for entertaining kids. A cute tree house castle for kids to play in. Lots of options for trails!

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
