Confirmed from Shawnee North Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Huge pool for kids and adults, along with softball fields, a playground, and trails.
What runners say about Shawnee North Community Park
“Clean lots of seating, they have a lazy river and a separate super fun area for the littles.”
“Great play place for kids of all ages.”
Paved trail about .85 miles long is nice for running and walking. Lots of people walk their dogs. Trails are great, especially for taking kids on little hikes. Trail goes over a stream, so make sure you can carry the little ones over the rocks. Bigger kids can jump from rock to rock.
Love it here. They have everything. Dance ,weights, playground, baseball soccer, walking train, creek, ATV accessible trails. Summer camps. I love taking me kids to the playground. They really enjoy the drums. They have a restroom inside and over at the baseball diamond and
We love coming to this park. My girls love the play area and being able to meet new people. I love the paved walking path they have they have that wraps around the softball fields, soccer fields and the play area. The walking path is . 8 miles long.
This park has a decent sized playground with slides, jungle gyms and at least six swings. There is also a decent amount of shade and bbq grills. There is a pool/water park open during summer. The ball fields are nicely maintained and there are open fields to play or practice.
