Confirmed from Imerman Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lush riverfront spot with a dog park, trails and fishing piers.
What runners say about Imerman Memorial Park
“Other folks tend to be really nice here and the park is well maintained and is quite big.”
Love it here so many different areas to walk, picnic, fish, hike and more. It is very clean and has different pavilions. In the Fall it has beautiful red trees in the back and a nice walking path. One of our favorite places to go enjoy nature.
This place is awesome. From being in the “City” a couple miles down the road and you’re out in nature with a huge dog park Split into two huge areas - small dogs and big dogs. I have 2 big dogs who are just learning about dog parks.
My husband and I have been going here to talk and have picnics since before we even started dating. I proposed to him there and to this day I take our dog there. This will always be a wonderful place to be. The dog runs are amazing and you can really tell they care about the upkeep of the trails.
Always peaceful, nice maintained trails, river views & access - they even rent kayaks! They have pavilions, bbq grills, dog run & dog friendly, basketball courts, playground, great staff AND it's all close to town and free for Saginaw County residents! Get out and play!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
