Confirmed from Independence Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“I haven't been in a little bit and walking around on a overcast day felt like it was perfectly Sunny and a gorgeous day outside.”

Bristol is a very special place and going there will make you feel that instantly. Independence Park is a wonderful historical environment. There is so much history and culture there to find. I haven't been in a little bit and walking around on a overcast day felt like it was perfectly Sunny and a gorgeous day outside.

Great outdoors with rocky waterfronts and wide open fields. This is a nice area to walk, bike ride or a drive. There are many stop off areas to enjoy the scenery and for fishing(I'll bring my fishing poles next time) there are plenty of boat launches and free restrooms. In the future I'll be returning to this area.

Great place all year,if using ice rink ,walk, sun ,meditate,or enjoy local business an relax after. The 4th of July concert series returns this year to the park, plan accordingly locals come early to get spots.

This four acres of grass and monuments is at the end of the East Bay Bike Path. Monuments include Columbus Quincentennial Memorial, the War of Independence Honor Roll, and the Bristol Middle Passage Port Marker Project. This is a quiet place to have a rest during a biking trip or a walk through the downtown area.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 10 mentions

“There is a foot path nearby that will take you along the water with a few benches along the way where you can sit & enjoy the view.”
