Confirmed from Indian Crossing Trails Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Indian Crossing Trails Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (360 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“so peaceful and trails are awsome along with the kayaking and fishing or just to take a relaxing walk the scenery is beautiful and so many deer just strolling around.”

🪧 well-marked 2 mentions

“There is a dam, slick woods, charming bridges, a rushing river, hiking trails with good signage and elevation.”

I do like the trail that follows the river. I didn't experience any mosquitos when I went here, but I imagine they could be bad by the water. With the fallen leaves the trail was dry. I saw a couple deer. A nice quiet walk. They say they have restrooms, but they are locked.

This place is great, from fishing, to hiking, from kayaking, to photography, it is all here. We have hiked miles upon miles here there are different routes lots of off shoots. The scenery is wonderful and so many great spots to stop and hop in the river for a cool down. Great memories to be made, enjoy.

Several different trails, from the more rugged one that is rarely used to one that is easy enough to take a stroller on. Love the river, dams, and mill pond. Very dog friendly

★★★★★ — Andrea , Sep 2023

This is definitely one of the most scenic areas in southern Michigan to go for a hike. It’s nestled in the small town of Tecumseh which is picturesque in itself. Although this nature area is close to town, it feels like a true escape to nature.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
