Confirmed from Tate Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Tate Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (296 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“It's always been very well maintained, however it could definitely use a dog park as Village of Clinton has many dog owners w/ extra energy during the winter months.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Nicely cut green grass, beautiful gazebo and fields, clean restrooms and lots of space to play with my kids and other friendly park visitors.”

This is a very great and big park! There’s a nice good size playground, places to play soccer, for baseball diamonds, a walking path that goes around the whole park or paths that are not more than 200 feet, A very nice handicap accessible gazebo, multiple pavilions around the park, and restrooms at the front.

Brought the kids to this park and it has so much to it! There is a story search of some sort (through the local library I believe) through out the whole park. The kids playground is in great shape and provides alot of entertainment for kids!

Great place to take the little ones to play! Very large playground with plenty to do. Baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and even trails to walk through the wooded area. Pavilions for anything from birthdays, weddings, and graduations. Restroom building on site and plenty of parking places.

It's got something for everybody the adults the kids the fisherman that went to fish in the stream. Ball fields. Soccer fields. Picnic areas trails. It's clean and well-organized. And I love the way the ball fields are set up so you can drive the handicap down to the dugout. Bleachers and bathrooms.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
