Confirmed from Riverbend Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil option offering multiple trails through woodlands, meadows and along the River Raisin.
What runners say about Riverbend Preserve
“Beautiful views of the old railroad bridge.”
“It was very peaceful and beautiful!”
It’s a pretty nice walk. My only ‘complaint’ is there are quite a few groundhog tunnels and the ground is a little unlevel for running at least. But I mean it’s Earth so it’s not supposed to be perfect. The views are great though
Short, easy, quiet trail. Follow a half loop out about a half mile. There is a center trail that cuts across the middle of the loop. I managed to make a 2.25 mile walk out of it, with a couple of laps
Shorter trails but gorgeous! One of my fav places to go walking in the area
I visited for the first time this fall as leaves began changing. It was very peaceful and beautiful! There are mowed trails in a hilly meadow, a small patch of woods, and the river...it was a pleasant surprise to find in the middle of nowhere.
Trail conditions & character
“The foliage blocks a clear view but still pretty nonetheless.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
