Confirmed from Interlaken Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
51.7-acre city park featuring paths & trails for bikers, hikers & joggers in a densely wooded area.
What runners say about Interlaken Park
“We really enjoyed our walk here, and the trails are kept in such great condition”
“A beautiful and clean park, but a coyote followed my dog and I.”
“Peaceful, listen for the birds and feel the soil beneath you :)”
Lovely spot for an afternoon run. I usually run down the road and then back up to 19th via the trails. The park is very clean and safe. The tents/vagrants often seen here in 2020-2021 are long gone.
Interlaken Park is a narrow and meandering green space. You can access the park through Interlaken Blvd from both sides or 19th Ave from South. There is only one main road/path so it's not hard to navigate. Very quiet spot to take a walk or jog.
Interlaken Park is a nice little urban oasis and a nice place to refresh with a walk, short hike, or bike ride.
Very quiet park with single track, dual, and a paved trail. Run through here all the time.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
