Confirmed from Irving Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful park. Great place to take a walk. All the baby ducks are out in the spring at this park. There is a hiking trail up the steps where I found some beautiful wild flowers. They have a Pavillion that faces the lake where you can sit and contemplate. It's a small sized park.

★★★★☆ — Anna , Sep 2023

Has a decent amount of walking and it's usually nice and quiet, but could use some cleaning. They also have a couple of playgrounds and they have discgolf baskets, which is a nice bonus. It's also a pretty decent spot for birding.

Peaceful place to relax have lunch feed the Ducks go for a walk. People are friendly and mind there own business. Only downside to this park there's bird poop everywhere! City should come clean up behind the birds.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
