Confirmed from Riverside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean neighborhood park with multiple playgrounds, ball courts, and walking trails.

Love this place for a good walk or run. Even good for bikes but afternoons are very busy so better to just walk or run in the afternoons. You have a combination of wooded and sidewalk trails with soccer fields. You have access to the school play area in the afternoons for the younger kids.
Overall it is one of the better parks in Battle Creek. It is mostly geared towards the elementary schools needs. Walking trail is paved and very easy to navigate for people of all fitness levels.
This park has excellent concrete trails around the borders. This makes it popular for dog walkers, joggers, rollerblading and more. There is a baseball diamond with good drainage. A fun place for adults and children to exercise and play. After school neighbors utilize the playground equipment as well.
This is a lovely park with a paved walking trail, soccer fields, baseball fields and and basketball area. An elementary school also Grace's the property. Dogs and owners are welcome. There is parking on two sides of the park.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
