The park is easy to get to. It has a decent amount of parking. On one side is a pretty good size field. The field is well maintained. On the other side of the parking lot are hiking trails. They’re well marked and well maintained. The park is dog friendly as long as they are leashed.
Beautiful spot easily missed! A short walk up from baseball field is a great picnic pavillion you can rent through the Town Hall Parks & Recs. My favorite place to go in the spring! Early skunk cabbage is a must see! Perfect for folks with young kids. I always loved the idea of going to the playground in the woods. Perfect for kids to play and parent to have beautiful nature to look at. Trails are short & somewhat all loop back to the parking lot.
Love this park, with three kids ranging from six year old and twins that are almost 2 years old. There is lots to do with many trails, you can fish in the pond there, a nice playground with lots of area to roam around. Benches and picnic tables too.
