Confirmed from J. W. Denver Williams Jr. Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreation area with a playground and splash pad, plus picnic tables, and areas for baseball, tennis, and basketball.
What runners say about J. W. Denver Williams Jr. Memorial Park
“Colorful, creative and well maintained, the playground and splash park were lots of fun for my visiting granddaughter.”
What a great place for a family gathering! The kids can run and play in either the water area or the large playground area, while the adults sit and visit at the tables under the shade of the shelter. There is even a skate park for the teens. The only negative is that there is no place to bar b que that I seen.
Very nice park with lots of fun things to do! The kids always enjoy seeing the geese and ducks on the pond there. There are covered picnic areas, a little library box where you can drop off some of your books and trade them for others in the box, a splash pad area, and a couple different playgrounds. One is brand new.
Very enjoyable, has a place for kids and dogs to run. Sections connected by paved trails and an outside exercise area. Similar to a park I visited in Oakland California. Drawback was parking and in places it looks like the city had used it as a dumping ground at one time.
