Confirmed from OgdenTrail/Elizabeth J Looney Memorial Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about OgdenTrail/Elizabeth J Looney Memorial Trail
“It is very nice trail, paved and mostly shaded with no road crossings.”
Now that this trail is on Google Maps, I can leave a review. I have walked this path probably 2 dozen times and the Luther Warren PP a few dozen times, and together 4 times. Once you get past the landfill area it is a beautiful and peaceful walk. If the wind is right you won’t smell it at all.
This trail was extended 3.1 miles from S. Nelson Ave. to Ogden Road in late 2022 following the old RR roadbed the entire distance. It is very nice trail, paved and mostly shaded with no road crossings. It should be added to the map.
Very good and well kept trail, with occasional railroad artifacts along the way, and nice views of the countryside
