Confirmed from Luther Warren Peace Path's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Luther Warren Peace Path
“Mostly flat, pretty shaded and quiet.”
**UPDATE** I have yet been able to post about the new extension of the Luther Warren Peace path which is called ELIZABETH J LOONEY MEMORIAL PATH. If you park in the lot off the Nelson entrance, the new path entrance is right across the street. However, be aware, it is approximately 7 miles round trip.
Kinda of a hidden trail. Not alot of traffic. Access from the back of the hospital parking lot. Quiet and pretty
Took one star off just because the trail entrance is right next to the landfill AND sewage treatment plant. There’s a giant open-air vat of sewage being treated within eyesight of the trail entrance.
Great place to be anytime of the year. So that you can walk and get healthy.
Trail conditions & character
“The path is all asphalt so it is handicap accessible and is just as wide as the Luther Warren PP.”
“There is no parking to enter at the other end of this path, which ends (turn around) where the bend is from South Beechgrove Road & turns into Ogden Road.”
