Confirmed from Jack & Mary Nell Strong Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, picnic tables, and basketball court, plus open space for jogging.
What runners say about Jack & Mary Nell Strong Park
“It's clean ,has lots of trees for shade and it is lit nicely for when it gets dark.”
It's a lovely small neighborhood park. There's room for walking ,jogging, picnicking,a playground for kids, basketball goal, and It's dog friendly. It's clean ,has lots of trees for shade and it is lit nicely for when it gets dark. My daughter and I have gone at 4:30 a.m. and walked .
I go to walk. It is a simple park in a regular neighborhood. Good play ground. Also well equipped for dogs. I measured the walk around at .38 miles.
Love the new spinning platform but wish there was a way to make it more kid powered (like the spinning disk in the middle that would help turn it). There are baby swings which is great. I wish there was a "generation swing" which is better for kid and adult swinging. As always, I wish there was more shade offered.
Kids love this park. It's nice, clean, and not very busy. Sidewalks all around for a little run/jogging action, and good playground with lots of options to keep the kiddos busy for a while. Also large open fields for throwing a ball or frisbee around is nice as well!
