Confirmed from Jacobs Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Jacobs Conservation Area

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (56 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Total walk to the water & back 1.9 ish miles. Perfect & great winter decor. Sad to see dog poop bags along the mouth of the place. Maybe dig a small trench so it all could get buried like an out house.. or an out house that covers that too.

Jacobs Pond offers and array of different activities. My favorite being fishing either from shore or my kayak. But the fun doesn’t stop there, enjoy a relaxing hike on the manicured trails around the pond. These trails supply beautiful sites of the surrounding nature.

Pleasant secluded picnic spot under the trees near the parking lot. Short walk to the pond and trail to the island. Lots of fishing going on this Saturday. Well built dock with a great boat launch for kayaks and canoes!

★★★★☆ — Ginger , Jun 2020

Fantastic trail network with great vistas. Benches, picnic tables and even a fire pit promote outdoor, fresh air activities for friends and family! Stop by today.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
