Confirmed from Jacot Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a kids' playground, picnic tables & shelters, plus a walking trail & soccer fields.
What runners say about Jacot Park
“I liked that the playground equipment was in good shape, there was a nice covered picnic area, and the whole area was fairly clean.”
“Also a covered area to sit and eat in the shade.”
Great park to play for families and kids. There is a paved course to walk, jog, skate, bicycle, etc. The playground is good and kids enjoy. Plenty of open space to play catch or have picnics. Also a covered area to sit and eat in the shade. Bring bottled water.
We love this park, not only does it have unique playground equipment that my kids always enjoy but it also has a basketball court and a walking trail that circles the park. Something for everyone.
Very clean, open space to host a kids party, family event or to simply have a field day. There's a walking trail, playground and shelter. The only thing they were missing was a restroom. Don't worry though, there were porterhouses available if you're comfortable with those. I would visit again when I'm in Middletown.
Always loved this park since I was a little girl...the other night they had a big projector playing the new ninja turtle movie with food trucks ext.!! Middletown need to do things like this at other parks as well!! I ho there and walk too...highly recommend!!
Trail conditions & character
“Would be better if they opened the restrooms up, & not have nasty port a let's so far away ( as soon as you enter the park).”
“Also a covered area to sit and eat in the shade.”
