Confirmed from Miami University Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Miami University Nature Trail
The Miami University Middletown campus has a nice nature trail area. There is a main trail that starts at the nature trail entrance at the east end of the south parking lot and winds down to the west end of the south parking lot. The woods and the wooden bridges are photogenic.
Great little place to hike. Small loop trail and a larger loop trail. Very serene and uncrowded.
Great forest trails. Unfortunately there are NASTY INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE, that leave dog poop on the trails.
Peaceful hiking trails loved it! Lots of fallen trees lately on the trail but you can easily pass them.
