Confirmed from Jake's Hilltop Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Setting featuring a basketball court, playground, picnic tables & football & baseball game fields.
What runners say about Jake's Hilltop Park
“There are a lot of places without shade but trees have been recently planted and will improve the park as they grow and mature.”
Jake's Hilltop Park is mostly a sports park and playground area. There are a lot of places without shade but trees have been recently planted and will improve the park as they grow and mature. Large landscaping rocks have been installed and they add interest and backgrounds for photos.
This park is great for multiple age children. Lots of activities to do. Various places for the kids to climb and balance and play. There is very little shade so keep that in mind during the hot months. There are 2 benches and one of those are in the shade. They have a large swing station with 2 baby swings.
One pokemon go gym easily accessible at the front of the park and four Pokestops spread around, so good place to walk a bit. Edit: it's been pointed out to me that there are now two P-Go gyms at this park. FYI.
It's just up the street frome me but, that's not what makes it special. It's one of the best places in Flower Mound to see a sunrise or sunset. There are walking trails throughout the park. A play area for kids. Basketball courts, baseball fields and a pavilion too.
