Confirmed from Jalapa Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed place featuring a playground and a recreation of an Olmec head.
What runners say about Jalapa Park
“Right across the street from the hotel is a very cute and scenic park.”
“There is plenty of shade and easy walking paths.”
“Beautiful, quiet, well shaded park.”
Right across the street from the hotel is a very cute and scenic park. We took advantage of this beautiful spot for additional photos of the debutante, and it's clear it would be a wonderful location for family portraits or other events. The picturesque scenery makes it a perfect complement to the hotel.
I've been coming to this hidden little park for over 25 years. I've done it all and seen it happen here. There is plenty of shade and easy walking paths. It's a great place to have an picnic but tables and chairs are few.
Cute little park,. I never knew this park was almost in my backyard. My friend and I took her dog there for a walk. So clean and beautiful.
Wicked-looking Olmec statue makes this park worth a quick stop. There’s no restrooms and there’s not much in the way of walking. There’s a longer path in the back leading to the outskirts of some businesses and circles back at some point but it’s not interesting enough if you thought it led somewhere cool.
