Confirmed from James River Heritage Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice views but crowded. Advise you take one of the trails that go from main trail.
Awesome place to hike, walk, run, bicycle, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The trail is largely wooded with some exposed portions. It's paved and very well maintained. It's an easy hike as the elevation changes are minimal. The scenery and views are phenomenal.
What a great find! This trail is well maintained, easily accessible , and quite peaceful. Hubby and I only walked about 3/4m as we had an appointment to get to, but it was very relaxing. I loved being in the woods again! We saw several other walking and it seems to be a popular walking area.
