Confirmed from Janet Majerus Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Little, peaceful park featuring a playground for kids, a walking path and a lake.
What runners say about Janet Majerus Park
“Such a beautiful and quiet little place.”
Very pretty little park with a playground and a walkway around it, but there are no bathrooms or dedicated parking. I guess if you want to walk in the park, it's worth walking to? I'm glad I visited.
Nice peaceful place with a .5 mile walking track, 2 playgrounds, pavilions, and new bathrooms!
I love going to that playground!, i live close actually!, just a got to walk and turn and there it is the playground!.Me and my cousins like to go there, i also like how there is a swing for parents/kids to sit with there baby family member!.My mom likes to go to that swing with my baby sister!, and its so cute!💗
Good play place with springy soft flooring for younger kids. It has a nice walk around path with plenty of benches and two picnic tables by a small lake (not for swimming). The new workout equipment is also good.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- Distance24 mi as reported — check whether that is one way or a round trip before you commit. Long enough for a real long run.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
