Confirmed from Lewis Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lewis Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (152 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Nicely maintained, the playground is mostly nice for children but gets crowded quickly.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Beautiful pond with a nice, though short, path around it and the entire small park.”

Nicely maintained, the playground is mostly nice for children but gets crowded quickly. It has wood chips, which I don't love, but there is worse. Beautiful pond with a nice, though short, path around it and the entire small park. The benches deserve a bit more attention.

★★★★☆ — Tim , Apr 2017

Cute park, kinda smallish but beautiful. We were able to rent the whole park for the day for only $10 which was great. We had a grill out but had to bring our own grills unfortunately. There is a playground here, and a pond with a walking path around it.

★★★★☆ — Rachel , Oct 2016

Great little neighborhood park. I take a group of students here to play capture the flag on occasion. The park has a man-made lake in the center with a walking path all the way around. Well lit at night, and has a great playground.

★★★★★ — Tyler , Jun 2018

Nice park, pretty place with some paved paths and open places for kids to run. Pond is nice and so is the playground. A few benchs and picnic table are also available.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 6 mentions

“There are also people and dog drinking fountains available in the summer months.”
