Confirmed from Jeff Blatnick Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with baseball fields, playgrounds, a dog park, a roller rink, a frisbee golf course, and tennis courts.
What runners say about Jeff Blatnick Park
“There's a great view of the Mohawk River from the bike trail that I walk on.”
“It's a nice quiet place to enjoy a sandwich and ice tea while sitting in my car; listening to what's left of the radio.”
Peaceful trail to walk, skateboard or ride your bike. My children and I love it.
I took the trail along Mohawk River. The river is beautiful, as are the grass fields.
I never knew about this park before until I stumbled upon it riding my bike along the empire state trail towards Niskyuana. There is a paved path up a hill to get a 360° view of the park with a spectacular view of the water and distant mountains.
This is a great park. It has a playground, nice tennis courts, a dog park, several ball fields, a hockey rink, and a volleyball court. It also has easy access to a great paved running /biking trail. A nice place to stop if you want to spend some time outdoors.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
