Confirmed from Jesters Trail Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Desert hiking area with a trail that's appropriate for various skill levels.
What runners say about Jesters Trail Trailhead
“Beautiful, great for sightseeing and enjoying long walks.”
Best hike in the area if you are looking for actual hiking and a view. This is one of the few hikes in the desert that has a reveal. There is a challenging section that is about 200 yards long that has you on loose gravel. As pictured. Not over used.
Awesome views, very accessible, and trails everywhere among the hills. Unfortunately I couldn't make the peak on my eMTB, too many large boulders make the final stretch to the peak accessible only by foot. Cool place though.
Awesome hike with very rewarding views, although it does get very steep at the top.
Amazing hike. Definitely not for beginners, I would consider it to be a moderate to hard hike. If you lose your footing it will be the last hike you enjoy! It’s relatively moderate until the last 20-30 mins of the hike at which point the incline gets very steep.
