Confirmed from Jim Green Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Jim Green Trailhead
“A nice walk through the oaks with great views of the golf course”
“This is a Peaceful walk following the trail system thru the trees listening to the birds.”
Beautiful trail. Not very difficult. Great for beginners. Great for dogs.
Really enjoyed my sweltering trail run here on a 100 degree day. Parking at the trailhead is at the end of a quiet neighborhood near the train tracks. The trail loops, I believe 2.4 miles or so and has some inclines throughout working up the hills with switchbacks. Loved the peekaboo golf course views down below.
Excellent trail to decompress. Mountain biking, walking and golf watching. If you're biking it, it's like a roller coaster, stay left and come out on the right. Short trail but fun.
Ideal for the elderly, good trail to walk your dog.Easily accessible ,has parking. Good spot for a quick hike.
Trail conditions & character
“Great for dogs though I would recommend a leash as the path does get narrow at points and the edge steep.”
“Does have a few steeper down hills, and an awesome view from about half way through.”

“Probably the best and easiest loop trail I take my dog on!”
“There is some elevation gain but it was still manageable with a BOB stroller.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says

- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
