Confirmed from John G Bergfeld Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“It has a good, clean playground with a nice retention pond and wildlife.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Beautiful trail and views of the pond and wildlife to walk and see after work or a long week!”

Not perfect but still a decent place for a good walk. Its roughly a .81 mile loop which takes approximately 15ish minutes to walk for someone near 6 foot at a leisurely pace.

A great little park in the middle of one of the industrial parks. It has a good, clean playground with a nice retention pond and wildlife. It also has a nice walking trail to mix up the scenery.

★★★★★ — Caleb , Apr 2019

Great place for a walk, run or a bike ride. They also have bathrooms, picnic tables, benches and a playground. I see people fishing here too.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
