Confirmed from Johnny Gisi Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Johnny Gisi Memorial Park
This is such a delightful little gem of a park. Great place for kids of all ages to play. Right next to the walking and biking path. Also, near the beautiful Pollinators garden.
Not residents of Bismarck but thoroughly enjoyed our walk along the trail. From the KOA to the end of the trailhead, 4.5 miles with little elevation change, fully paved and dog friendly. Started walking by apartments and the backside of a neighborhood, then marshes and finally near the golf course at the end.
Great park for the kids and walking. Chose this because of reviews and said that there were restrooms which turned out to not be true so our visit got cut short.
Good parking space for access to the trail system. There is also a playground and some tennis courts, but I mostly use this area for trail access.
