Confirmed from Jones Mill Mountain Bike Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Mountain bike trails spread across 8–9 mi, marked by colored signs.
What runners say about Jones Mill Mountain Bike Trail
“Fantastic trail with beautiful views of the water.”
“The trails are well marked staring with the gray trail, orange trail, blue, then the red trail.”
Enjoyable ride. Technical in the sense that there are a lot of roots and rocks. Not heavy on the downhill or uphill, but narrow and rocky. Hit the trail after it rained and the rocks get VERY slippery. Solid track with options on the distance you want to go.
I didn't realize this was a mountain bike trail until I had already driven an hour, so I hiked it anyway. The mountain bikers were super courteous about sharing the trail, and I passed a few other people hiking it as well. There isn't a whole lot to see as far as scenery goes, but it was a relaxing 5 mile hike.
Great MTB Trail with various terrain. Now over 8 miles with lots of options. Getting better every year.
Beautiful well marked trails. If you're hiking all the trails (white, orange, blue, red) it'll be about 8 miles. It rained the night before our hike so there were lots of little waterfalls to see.
Trail conditions & character

“A few places to stop by the lake and enjoy the waterfront view.”
“I did the full 8 mile loop and took about an hour and a half, there are options for connector trails to shorten that if you want to skip sections.”
