Confirmed from Bryant Grove Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Bryant Grove Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (201 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Super clean busy but not crowded and the trail has placards explaining the journey of Jesus.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 12 mentions

“The path is beautiful, well kept, and easy enough for us.”

This Trailhead can take you four miles to the south and east. I was trail running, and found it for the most part to be a great trail. Certain sections you just have to watch for rocky areas and tree roots that would be trip hazards. Pretty flat and level. Overall a fun trail to get out and walk, hike, or trail run on!

This is a wonderful four mile out-and-back trail with a lot to offer: lake views, cedar glades, high-canopied deciduous forest, abundant wild life; and every 1/2 mile is marked, making it easy to do less than the complete eight miles as desired. Relatively flat, so it is good for trail runners. Dogs not allowed.

Great trail but I believe some reviews here have it confused with the couchville lake loop. The Bryant grove trail is the one that is NOT paved. This is an 8 mile out and back (or 4 mile point to point) that runs along the Percy priest shore back to barnett rd near the jones mill bike trail.

A nice paved walking trail along the lake shore. We went on a weekday morning, and there was quite a lot of foot traffic, so I imagine it gets quite busy on the weekends. If you're looking for seclusion, this probably isn't the place for you. But not a bad place to get 2 miles in :)

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
