Confirmed from Jones WoodlandsTrails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Jones WoodlandsTrails
“1 issue was there were not ant receptacles for your dog poo which means people won't clean up.”
A 3.5 mile stacked loop trail system in the heart of Loudon Heights. Approx. 1 mile is gravel surfaced and the rest is natural surface. Great for walkers, runners, and beginner mountain bikers. In the winter, the trails make for great xc skiing on the few times there is enough snow.
Lovely trail system! Lots of options for easier or more challenging hikes. I went in the middle of the day in summer - there’s enough tree cover that even that was comfortable. Fun finds along the trails :)
Great place to enjoy nature & walk the dog. I got here at dusk so I didn't get much time to explore but it definitely was impressive. 1 issue was there were not ant receptacles for your dog poo which means people won't clean up. I also wandered if there was parking at the bottom.
3 interconnected loops of machine built trails. One is packed gravel, with the remaining being dirt.
