Confirmed from Josiah Cephas Weaver Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Dunedin is just a treasure trove of serene and beautiful places. Weaver Park is a small unique park that is located on both sides of Bayshore. The land side features, playgrounds, picnic areas, covered areas, bathrooms, fitness area and majestic oaks in a scenic and inviting area.

5.12.24: The park itself is VERY dog friendly. There is not an actual fenced-in park for dogs. The Pinellas Trail is directly adjacent to the park with paved and grass walkways. Across the street is the water area. There is no dog area that I'm area of.

On this visit to Weaver Park, we were walking the Pinellas Trail to downtown Dunedin. Shady parking lot, bathroom and adjacent to the Trail. The park has an East section with playgrounds , bathroom, a covered picnic shelters. The West side also has parking and a pier out into the water. Great for sunsets.

Great place! From taking the kids here for their playground while they were growing up to meeting here for bike rides. This place has a beautiful waterfront view and is on the pinellas trail. What more could you want!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
