Confirmed from Jumpoff Canyon Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area featuring access to multiple trails, including the Bonneville shoreline trail.
What runners say about Jumpoff Canyon Trailhead
“I absolutely love this hike and the beautiful nature within!”
My favorite trailhead. Access to a great canyon and a few nice little options to explore. You can link up to Ogden Nature Center North trail head or head south to Douglas Street. Plenty of wildflowers, lizards, deer, and other critters along the way.
Great hiking. The map is a little misleading because once you get hiking, you realize how small the trails are. I was going to take the smallest loop, but by the time I got to the split, I felt like it had only been ten minutes.
This is a great trail to hike. If you plan in going all the way to the waterfall it is a long steep hike. That being said my kids 9,7,5 were able to hike all the way. It is very busy this time of year for those going to see the waterfall. I agree with another reviewer that the trail markers are confusing.
Super cute, fun hike. Nothing crazy, just a stroll for the most part but there are some uphill areas that get your heart going a little. It's absolutely beautiful & clean regardless!!!
