Confirmed from Orton/Green Acres Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a playground, picnic tables, and walking track, plus soccer fields.
What runners say about Orton/Green Acres Park
“The west side of the track has trees so in the summer it is a shady cool part of the track.”
If you want to walk off of the busy roadways come here. The asphalt track is level fairly smooth and easy to walk. Never busy a few other walkers at peak hours. It is a calm location. During week days some noise from the school next door. Overall a pleasant easy walking path.
This is usually a busy soccer park with a nice paved jogging path around the soccer pond? Today it is a place for swimming and paddleboard. So much for soccer this spring. There is also a nice shady area with a stream running through it for a place to relax.
We live close by and there is a park and a soccer field which is so surrounded by a paved walking track. The park is small but decent and the school playground is a bit bigger and makes up for what the park misses out on.
Lovey park with lots of shade. The playground is mostly shaded even. Cute little stream and a walking path that’s about .5 miles. Great park
