Confirmed from Juniper Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreation venue with tennis and pickleball courts, volleyball, a water park, and a playground.
What runners say about Juniper Hill Park
“There were nice clean picnic tables I was glad of since we brought everything including a bug candle, which I highly recommend, cause we still got bit.”
“This is a great place to take your kids to play, there's lots of play equipment, shady places for adults to sit, and picnic tables.”
This is a great place to walk your pet or to picnic and play so if you get a chance to check it out I would highly recommend it
This is a great park! Good amount of seating around playground and nicely shaded... a play area for smaller kids and 2 sets of swings. There's nice pathways for walking and also tennis courts and an area for working out... Plenty of tables for a party too! Only downfall is no real bathrooms around besides a portable
Very nice playground for the kids and nice exercise equipment for everyone including the kids, bathroom facilities, picnic tables, & a large picnic pavilion, competition quality valley ball courts, adjacent city golf course and lots of open grass to run dogs or kids.😁
Fun place for the whole family ...water park volley ball ...cookout...golf ....trails
Trail conditions & character
“There were also no bathrooms near the playground that we were aware of, just a sick potty.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
