Confirmed from Kalmbach Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Kalmbach Memorial Park
“Nice walking trails, well maintained.”
“Beautiful park for walking though, having your picture taken or just need to rest your mind for a little.”
“There is also a river that runs alongside part of the path, which makes the experience even more pleasant and peaceful.”
Awesome place to go on a leisurely walk and relax!! My dog, Murray, loves exploring there and taking an occasional dip in the stream!!
Nice place to walk and enjoy nature. Very well maintained. Plaques identifying trees as well as QR codes for other information. A little Library, a dog treat station, a bird watching area and a fairy garden are unique features. The park also offers many events and classes throughout the year.
It's the perfect place to walk and see a little nature while within walking distance of Macungie. Very safe, and everyone you come across is very polite.
This park is a very dynamic place and perfect for enjoying time with family. It has a wide path that is ideal for riding a bike, walking, or simply relaxing while enjoying nature. Along the way, you can see many birds, as well as some beehives 🐝 that are part of the natural environment.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
