Confirmed from Kate Street Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Kate Street Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (19 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“Some shade and a little TLC.”

Took my boys here later in the day 6-6:30pm and there was plenty of shade from the trees, no bathrooms or water fountains though and no covered playground, I'm sure around noon it's too hot. Plenty of room to run around and play, 2 playgrounds one for smaller kids and one for bigger kids. Swings.

My grandkids have a fabulous time here. There's a nice field for them to run around and play kids and there's also the playground equipment. The equipment could use some sprucing up and definitely some repainting there are things written that small children should not see.

★★★★☆ — Gina , May 2023

Nice little park with two picnic tables. One table even has wheelchair seating. Swings, jungle gyms, and a large open field to run in. Also, one small charcoal grill available.

Some shade and a little TLC. But a nice setup & lots of space for running & playing.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
