Confirmed from Kaufman Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed nature space with a paved trail running around Lake Kaufman for walking and jogging.
What runners say about Kaufman Park
Nice place to walk your dogs or just stretch your legs. Right off Springfield Ave. Good place for fishing or grilling, they even have a fire pit. There is a shortcut by the railtrack that leads you to Powell Park if interested.
We love walking around Kaufman Lake. Many places to fish and a paved road to walk on as you go around the lake.
Great place to relax, plenty of parking. It's a nice little lake right in the city. The 0.8 mile path around the lake is especially nice to walk, jog, or bike.
Great place for being refreshed and spending some time with family. Nice walking trails. Very calm place. Could be a great place for fishing.
Trail conditions & character

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
