The park has multiple trails running through, stretching for miles, and with a good forest cover. The trails are well-maintained, with maps, and wooden benches available at intersections. There is a paved trail of around a mile and a half, which is fully accessible by a stroller/wheelchair.
Gorgeous state forest with tons of beautiful walking trails and now they even have paved biking trails that I saw also being utilized by families with strollers. So many wildlife to see and photo opportunities and of course the observation tower is a must especially once fall comes!
These photos are from a hike where I followed a trail I had not seen before. I could not direct you to find it again. There were turkeys, aquaducts, large mushrooms and an algae pond. A fascinating an unique area. It was a day of wonder to discover this area.
This is a great place to experience fall in Wisconsin and an easy 1 mile off the interstate. Lots of nicely groomed or paved trails with interactive trail signs. The tower lookout is worth the stop alone to get above the tree line and see miles of in all directions.
