Confirmed from King Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Picnic-friendly option with a basketball, volleyball and tennis court, plus a grassy field.
What runners say about King Park
“Fairly clean and well maintained.”
“It's not the biggest park but it's usually not crowded and lots of room for little ones to run around”
Checked this park out in late January. Seems like a nice little park that could be great for neighborhood kids to grow up using. The backyards of multiple houses face the field, making it feel a bit safer, at least in my opinion.
This park is where my daughter's pre-school takes the kids on their "play days." They also hosted the family meet and greet. My 4 and 3 year old loved it there. Lots of things for the kiddos to climb on and play with. They also have a built in scavenger hunt around the main playset. Overall seems safe.
Secret gem hidden behind the neighborhood, King Park is one of the best family friendly parks in the area. Pavilion is close enough to watch playground, as are a pair of benches. Within walking distance to the surrounding houses, which is quite helpful considering most of the nearby houses have small yards.
This is one of my favorite parks in Westminster. It has all the basics of a covered pavilion, playground, tennis court and basketball court. What makes it special is it is tucked into the neighborhood so away from main streets. Lots of open space for the kids to run around.
Trail conditions & character

“It is a fully equipped playground with wheelchair accessible public rest rooms.”
