Confirmed from Kingsgate Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Kingsgate Park
“Quiet park directly next to the freeway.”
A very nice trail system, not too many visitors, and great for dogs, running and walking. The only two downside to this forest is that theirs a hill with junk on it not used for anything and the freeway is extremely close to it.
I love this park as the best escape from within the suburb, to feel AS IF, you are deep in the mountains on a trail and have escaped IT ALL. tucked hotdog style in between I-405 and residential, it borderlines hiking difficulty that you should not bring the elderly on, as there can be multiple paths some obviously…
Perfect place for a nice stroll in the woods. We enjoyed the trail next to the freeway where the blackberries were there for the picking. Some of the trails were a bit steep for my 4 year old nephew.
Neat trail in the neighborhood woods. There was quite a bit of dog poop along that trail, so my toddler discovered.... There is a cute little bridge that looks like water typically flows under.
