Amazing view of downtown Grand Haven atop Dewey Hill. My second favorite park in Ottawa county. A vast expanse of marked trails and even more unmarked. Super unique landscape with beautiful dunes scenery.
This is actually a really fun trail or series of trails. I got lost and went off trail once or twice as there are a couple of unmarked trails that aren't part of the official trail system. But they still give you a good workout and it's very pretty place and peaceful place to watch
Very quiet when I came here late on a Sunday afternoon, not much wildlife or birds, there were some in the trees but very difficult to see but also wrong time of day. Paths are very well marked but mostly sand so some can be a bit hard going underfoot. I did find it very peaceful though despite the lack of action.
Interesting little hiking spot for a quick nature fix. Trails are not easily accessible, small but nice picnic area at the trail heads. Follow the path to the top of the hill, a few places to stop and take a rest. Nothing like the maintained trail at Hoffmaster or Rosy Mount. But an interesting little area to explore.
