Confirmed from Kittatinny Valley State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Beautiful park, clean trails, pretty easy and enjoyable.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 13 mentions

“Beautiful park, the trails are great for biking or even a stroller, but there's a 500ft stretch of trail that is just the shoulder of a busy road and not really a path.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

“I went on a quiet drizzly day and there weren't many ppl around.”

A beautiful spot. Really serene and peaceful. A beautiful spot. Really serene and peaceful. This place is so underrated! There's miles of trails, several lakes, one of which has small planes flying in and out of, which sounds noisy(and it can be) but floating on lake Aeroflex and having the planes come in like 50-75…

★★★★★ — Tom , Mar 2023

A beautiful relaxing small State Park close to home with Lake Aeroflex, airport for small planes, diverse wildlife and relaxing walking trails that healthy nature lovers enjoy with their dogs. We've seem deer, fox and at times even bear plus many birds.

Beautiful park, clean trails, pretty easy and enjoyable. I went on a quiet drizzly day and there weren't many ppl around. The guest center had helpful maps of the area, which was helpful for a novice like myself.

Beautiful park! We enjoyed hiking the trails with our dogs and watching the small planes take off/land. The visitor center was also very nice and the woman who helped me was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
