Confirmed from Kiwanis Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
37 acres between the Mississippi River and Boom Lake with a playground, trails & picnic pavilions.
What runners say about Kiwanis Park
“This is right on the Mississippi river with a fishing pier, large playground, clean restrooms, ample parking.”
“Beautiful, clean park with plenty to do for young & old.”
My mom brought me and my brother to this park when we were growing up, and I carried on the tradition with my daughter. They still have the same duck sculpture there!! That thing has got to be 40 or more years old.
This place is absolutely beautiful. it’s right on the river so you get a nice breeze from it and there is a very big park to play on for kids and there is two gazebos to sit under and one of them has a grill to cook on if you want to have a party there.
This is right on the Mississippi river with a fishing pier, large playground, clean restrooms, ample parking. Wonderful walking trail that goes around small boom lake. It could even accommodate rollerblading. Also on the south end is the Buster dog park. Wonderful place to visit.
There is a great playground and small dock for fishing right inside the entrance; there is a parking lot there. If you go a little further you come upon a dog park and the beginning of a small walking trail.
Trail conditions & character
“The walking paths are great, fishing at the river is fun, picnic area for family get-togethers, a dog park down the way.”
“It is paved the whole way, and brings you to the dog park and an overlook for the Mississippi River.”
