Confirmed from Paul Bunyan Trail Access' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Long paved, multiuse trail featuring scenic views, plus options for biking and hiking.

Rode the trail 15 miles. It was a nice ride. The trail provides shade and there are benches along the way to stop abd rest the bum or get hydrated. Also there are plenty of opportunities to stop and shop in Nisswa or other small towns along the way.
Well-maintained paved trail, great for biking. Next to no inclines, at least on the 4.5 miles out and back we went (south of Nisswa). Horse flies were a son of a gun though. Beautiful sights!
The PBT is tied for the best trail in MN... possibly the Midwest (tied with the Root River Trail) take a trip, explore, and enjoy some of the best views this area offers🤝
Beautiful paved trail with trees, water, wildlife, and a few easy hills. The highway is in sight but still will go back many times more.
